Activities

StoneChat Game Lodge resides within the Wilge River Nature Conservancy (WRNC), a 1500ha wildlife reserve with almost 5km river front. The reserve is fully enclosed with Game fencing and offers guests great opportunity to engage in various activities such as mountain biking, cross running, birding and hiking in a safe environment. Our hiking trails takes one past spectacular cliff faces and river scenery. Our region is popular for its rare species of birds such as the Bold headed Ibis and raptors such as Snack Eagle, Black Eagle and Fish Eagles so bring along your binoculars. We also offer game drives on open safari vehicles which takes one up close to game species such as Eland, Wildebeest, Blesbok, Springbuck, waterbuck, Kudu, Zebra’s and lots more.
